Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin is the 18th public institution of higher learning, located in the state of Terengganu, Malaysia. The university is established under the Malaysian Act of Parliament known as the Universities and University Colleges Act 1971. It is the first full-fledged university in the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia and first university to be based on the “cluster” concept. The university has three campuses namely Gong Badak Campus, Medical Campus, and Besut Campus. The university has twelve (12) faculties located in different campuses which offer programs in diploma, bachelor and master levels as well as doctor of philosophy.
UniSZA and SICT signed a Memorandum of Agreement on 5th February 2015 allow SICT to deliver Bachelor of Business Administration (Islamic Finance) with Honours at SICT campus. The programme is approved by the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysian and accredited by Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA).

The Bachelor Of Business Administration (Islamic Finance) With Honours programme aim is to provide an internationally recognized degree in Islamic Finance to produce graduates with functional management skills, strong Islamic finance knowledge, skills and spirit, exemplary leadership skills, high commitment towards pursuit of knowledge and excellence, and are innovative, socially responsible and good team players who are nationalistic and yet global in outlook and behavior.
The curriculum for the Bachelor of Business Administration (Islamic Finance) With Honours programme is designed for the semester system and to graduate, degree-seeking students must earn a minimum of 122 credit hours. The programme requires a minimum of 9 semesters to complete (approximately 3 years).
1) Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with Minimum NGMP 2.50; AND
2) PASS in a recognized Matriculation OR Foundation programme with minimum PNGK 2.50 from 4.0; AND
3) PASS Diploma (Level 4, KKM) with minimum PNGK 2.50 in relevant field of studies AND
4) PASS in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia with a minimum of Jayyid AND
** Malaysian University English Test (MUET) Band 2
1) Pass General Certificate of Secondary Education (GSCE) / Ordinary Level or equivalent with credit in English; OR
2) Pass General Certificate of Education (GCE) / ‘A’ level with at least:
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS – INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
English Placement Test (EPT) is a test that MUST be taken by all international students who do not have the TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge ‘A’ Level and Cambridge ‘O’ Level in English qualifications. The EPT results will determine if the student will need to attend the English Proficiency Programme (EPP) or not. The EPP is an intensive English course for one semester that also requires a subsequent EPT before a student can enroll in other academic subjects
