The vocational programmes offered at SIAT aims to train much-needed skilled and semi-skilled workforce for the country and beyond. SIAT was established in 2011 by obtaining approval from Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK) or Department of Skill Development (DSD) under the Ministry of Human Resources on September. SIAT programmes are competence-based, which are carefully-crafted by expert academician and industrialist to meet the strict National Occupational Skills Standards (NOSS), endorsed by the Malaysian Government.
